Tengo usando productos Zune desde que el primer reproductor salio el de 30Gb. Lo que puedo decir con este nuevo reproductor es que tiene lo que la mayoria de las personas buscamos en un reproductor de musica, portabilidad, diseño, capacidad, funcionalidad. Todo lo de mas es entretenimiento, ya saben aplicaciones, estoy seguro que en eso Microsoft esta planeando hacer algo al respecto, para los que necesitan de tener mas juegos o herramientas en su dispositivo. Para mi que soy un fanatico de la musica es el mejor reproductor que podrias obtener es estos momentos, desde el software que para mi tiene una gran ventaja en lo que a compatibilidad respecta, ya que puedes cargar la mayoria de tus archivos sin ningun problema a tu reproductor, si tienes Media Center y dejas tus programas grabando al momento de sincronizar tu dispositivo ahi van a estar tambien, o si bajas videos de otra fuente de igual manera. Si no tienes un Zune Pass te lo recomiendo, trata por un mes o los 14 dias gratis y no vas a dejar de sorprenderte con esta funcion que te va a evitar de estar bajando archivos dañados o con poca calidad, ademas de que todo es legal. Algo mas del reproductor es que es muy facil de usar, basta con que lo uses un rato para entender los menus y las funciones. En conclucion si saberlo estas entre este reproductor y el Ipod Touch, a mi lo que me hizo decidir es el Zune Pass y la compatibilidad (audio y video), si tienes una de estas razones por la cual decidir no lo dudes, Zune HD es lo que esas buscando.

Zero problems with ordering and shipping from vendor. HD Radio is a plus, setting up software would be a little bit on the hard side for the non-tech person.

I am returning my Zune 32GB MP3 player. The player is hard to use - there is no manual and the online info is not consumer friendly for the average to below average techno person. The player is not set up for downloading audiobooks from CDs. The microsoft company has designed the Zune so that it only supports books from Overdrive or Audible.com. Neither of these 2 companies are selling the books that I was trying to download. Microsoft support was no help - their only advice was to find someone else to help me & to download a MP3 converter which falls outside of their ream of help or support since the converter might hurt my computer.
However, I want to praise Amazon. I called them to tell them the problems that I am having & was told that I could send back the product. Thank you Amazon. Such a difference between working with your support line & the Microsoft Zune help line. Zune HD 32 GB Video MP3 Player (Platinum)

This was a gift for my bf. He already had a Zune (the original one) and he loved it, but when I got him this one, he was ecstatic. Overall the player is awesome. The picture quality is beautiful. The sounds is great. So easy to maneuver. He loves it!

I purchased the Zune HD the day it came out(actually pre-ordered it). Microsoft was finally going to put out a flagship music player! I had a few concerns(so much focus on a useless option available for a ridiculous amount of money allowing you to play your device content on your HDTV - I think this is the reason they even named it the Zune HD, the base price for the unit was also way too high), no camera, no bluetooth, but decided to go for it anyway.
First the GOOD: HD radio and overall sound quality, brilliant OLED screen, long battery life, wifi Internet access(although no option for google apps for ease of Gmail and Maps...).
The BAD: dozen or so apps(really! six months since the release and we finally have Facebook and a Twitter and nothing else new!!! - absolute disappointment!(concerned now if Microsoft has ditched Zune HD support for the Windows phone), nothing intuitive about navigation through screens(switching from HD radio to audio library, playing one song on an album and trying to see to whole album to pick another song..... unfortunately I could go on and on and on! Everything seems to be hinged on the left side button, but it doesn't do much good leading you to a sort of limbo, and there are no touch screen ways to navigate - the volume and forward reverse options come up and you can't slide, touch or do anything on the screen to get out. I guess I had to go on a little longer about the BAD. I keep waiting for Microsoft to come out with a device software update to allow for an acceptable interface, but I continue to be disappointed. The engineers must not have a player of their own. If they did they certainly would not say "Wow this interface rules and needs no revisions!". Okay I have to go here - Maybe they could spend a few hours on an iPod touch and get some ideas. I know there is a great deal of distaste for evil Apple, but the competition owns the market and is a source of great ideas for what works!
Conclusion: If Microsoft makes some serious efforts to completely revamp the interface and put out dozens on decent useful apps I might change the rating to 3 stars. 4 stars if the price was in the sub $200 range. It should not even be in the same range as the iPod. Learn the lesson from Sony and their BluRay. Lose some money and gain market share with a superior product. I do not recommend this device.
